The Yungang Grottoes, one of the largest grotto complexes in China, are also a world-renowned treasure trove of stone carving art, celebrated for their grandiose statues and diverse, rich content. The early representative works of the Yungang Grottoes are the "Five Caves of Tan Yao," which are caves 16 to 20. Among them, Cave 20 stands as the epitome of Yungang's carving artistry and serves as a symbol of Yungang stone carvings.
